Ken and Carol Finlayson have been volunteering with Habitat for Humanity’s West Kelowna ReStore for 5 years. They moved here from Alberta and were looking for volunteer opportunities. The ReStore seemed like a good fit for them. Ken helps with shipping and receiving and Carol helps with merchandising.
“We have met many wonderful people during our volunteer experience at ReStore. It is our opportunity to give back to the community.” Said Ken and Carol.
“I have found Ken and Carol to be a wonderful help to us.” Said Linda, the stores Assistant Manager. “They tidy and clean some of the difficult messes with the best of patience and attention to every detail. They are very pleasant to be with and we value them greatly.”
