The UP Project, a new Habitat for Humanity Okanagan initiative, is yet another avenue for our organization to raise vital funds to supply safe, decent and affordable housing right here in the Okanagan. Through various methods of up-cycling, the UP Project will add value to the generous product donations we already receive from the community. Resale items are produced using products which are diverted from local landfills or by increasing the current value of a product through refinishing or repurposing.
Habitat will collaborate with other local rehabilitative and training organizations to make an even bigger impact on the lives of our neighbours. In the coming months, The UP Project will be available for corporate team days, evening How-To workshops and more.
