Hello Everyone,
Welcome to the final eblast of 2020. As Nala was such a hit in my blooper last time, she is joining me for this message.
I’m happy to report that with the support from our communities we have broken more sales records with West Kelowna and Penticton ReStores achieving their highest ever revenues in October. I recognize and greatly appreciate all the hard work that is being done by our staff and volunteers to make this year successful in the midst of a pandemic and are very grateful that this community support has enabled us to remain stable through a time of uncertainty for many businesses.
We may be getting closer to the end of a turbulent and challenging year, but we are still not winding down yet. Our gingerbread contest has received a great response, the closing date for this virtual event is the 14th December, if you are thinking of joining in the fun we still have a few kits available to purchase online or in our 4 ReStores. As well as offering an in store 50/50 our online 50/50 raffle is now available, buy your tickets on our web site, the first draw will be the 29th January 2021.
As many of you are aware our build in Lake Country has started. Having a safe an affordable home for some families is a dream that seems out of reach for many, but with your help we can turn this into reality for 8 families. We officially began our campaign to raise a million dollars in September to help with the cost of this build. We will soon be launching our year end appeal too and all of our eligible donations will be designated to our Okanagan projects.
Thank you all for your ongoing support, wishing you and your families a happy and wonderful holiday season.
