For Immediate Release October 12, 2021
Okanagan, BC- Wondering what to do with your Thanksgiving empties? Look no further! Habitat for Humanity Okanagan is hosting a bottle drive to raise funds for its current build project of 12 affordable homes in Lake Country.
To donate, simply drop off your refundable containers at the West Kelowna ReStore (1793 Ross Rd) or the Kelowna ReStore (2092 Enterprise Way) on October 16th from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Bottles do not need to be sorted as volunteers will take them from your vehicle.
“We’ve had incredible community support for each of our bottle drives, and we are asking for your help once again,” said Andrea Manifold, CEO Habitat Okanagan. “Your bottles and cans will help put a roof over the heads of local families.”
