Measures we’re taking to mitigate the spread of COVID-19

CLOSED – COVID-19

Habitat for Humanity Okanagan’s first and foremost concern is keeping our staff, volunteers, donors, homeowners, and ReStore customers safe and informed. We are taking the necessary measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 within our operations.

  • Until further notice, ReStore operations will remain closed at all 4 of our Habitat ReStore locations, Kelowna, West Kelowna, Vernon and Penticton as well as the Up Project facility.  Our office will be closed to the general public however open Monday to Thursday only 7.30 a.m. – 4.00 p.m.  We will continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation. Updates will be available on our website at habitatforhumanityokanagan.ca and social media platforms.
  • During this ReStore closure, we will not be accepting donations at our store nor operating our trucks for pickups or kitchen salvage.
  • Please hold on to your donations during our closure dates, we look forward to accepting them when we reopen.

We thank you for your patience during this time of uncertainty. Our team is in constant contact around the ever-changing situation, and our staff continue to work diligently   to help families realize the strength, stability, and self-reliance of homeownership.

We encourage you to practice social distancing and to take care of yourselves. We look forward to seeing you soon.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
