Kelowna Chevrolet buys out Habitat’s Truck

Habitat for Humanity Okanagan staff were thrilled to pick up a large donation cheque in the amount of $21,448.54 from Kelowna Chevrolet. The donation will pay out Habitat’s existing lease on Habitat’s work truck.

“I had no idea how involved families were when I first learned about Habitat for Humanity Okanagan” said Dealer Partner Ian Speckman of Kelowna Chevrolet. “Learning that the families volunteer 500 hours and even help with the construction of their own homes is fantastic. This involvement can only help build pride and dignity for those involved.”

Co-CEO of Habitat for Humanity Okanagan Lorraine Richmond said “Human Dignity is something we truly value at Habitat for Humanity”.
