Dannburg Flooring Helps Habitat

Dannburg Flooring is a locally owned company that has been a part of the Okanagan Valley since 1987. They are a full-service floor and window covering company providing service to retail and commercial clients throughout the region.

There are many local retailers like Dannburg who have come to rely on Habitat for Humanity ReStores as a product solution for imperfections (which are often perfect for us), as well as overstocked items. Recently this was the case for Dannburg Flooring.  Because they had an overstock of a vinyl plank flooring product and needed to make room for other products.

In June, all of our Habitat ReStores (Vernon, Kelowna, West Kelowna, and Penticton) received a significant donation of new glue-down vinyl plank flooring from this great company. This is for sale now in all stores, while supplies last!

More importantly, once all these products are sold out Habitat for Humanity Okanagan will realize a substantial financial return on the approximately 80,000 square feet of flooring that was donated by Dannburg Flooring.

Our ReStores are a Habitat for Humanity social enterprise, they exist with the purpose of raising dollars in a socially responsible way.  The net profit from our ReStores is used to support our efforts to build homes for hardworking families right here in the Okanagan.

Donations of new/unused/used building materials, furniture, fixtures, lighting, appliances and yes even flooring from businesses like Dannburg Flooring, are the reason our ReStores can make such a difference to families in need of affordable housing.

Thank you, Dannburg Flooring, for this amazing donation!
