Happy New Year!
Wow! We ended 2024 with an amazing month of fundraising! The You Win, We Build 50/50 raffle jackpot far exceeded our expectations! December, when the raffle closed, I stayed awake until midnight on the 14th watching the jackpot grow and grow reaching $183,050! Not only was that a great achievement, but the ReStore raffle was a sell out! The community support for these raffles is amazing, combined we achieved a total jackpot of $398,482. We have started selling tickets again and looking forward to sharing more winnings in 2025. In 2024 we expanded our community engagement extensively and this year we will continue to be active, attending many of the Okanagan’s big events, including numerous home shows, car show & shines, Ribfest, IPE, seasonal markets and festivals. As well as raising funds and promoting all things Habitat we have a lot of fun meeting new people and we get to enjoy the wonderful locations we are fortunate to have in the valley.

The Meaning of Home competition is here again, its a good opportunity for children to get involved in helping Habitat to build homes, by submitting their poem or short story about what home means to them. Details on how to get involved are available in this eblast or by clicking HERE.
The ReStores have recently received donations of brand new items, including bathtubs, mosaic tiles, seasonal items i.e. valentines, St Patrick’s day, Christmas décor, and flooring adhesive all at fantastic prices, check out your local store for these bargains!
