Administrative Support Volunteer \u2013 Office Administration<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Resource Development \u2013 Volunteer Services office<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Purpose of Activities:<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

The Administrative Support Volunteer will provide support to affiliate and ReStore staff.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Database management and data entry<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Correspondence and snail mail<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Email<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Filing\/Tax receipting<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Other office duties as required<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Time and Location:<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Habitat for Humanity Okanagan Affiliate Office<\/p>\n

1793 Ross Road, West Kelowna<\/p>\n

Monday- Friday 9 a.m.- 4p.m.<\/p>\n

Days flexible<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n

Volunteer commitment:<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Administrative Support Volunteers are required to commit to one shift of 2-4 hours<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Training:<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Volunteers are required to complete volunteer application and orientation; specific training will be done through shadowing experienced volunteers when available or on job training supervised by Resource Development team.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Follow-up:<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Training opportunities will be made available depending on needs and scheduling.<\/p>\n

Volunteers are welcome to attend any training sessions offered on site. Notification of potential training opportunities will be posted at the office or in the newsletter.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Skills Required:<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Required but not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n
