Habitat for Humanity Okanagan (HFHO) is currently seeking a Director of Resource Development who has a heart for helping families obtain a safe and decent place to live through Habitat for Humanity\u2019s model of home ownership. HFHO is the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity Canada, a global nonprofit housing organization bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope.<\/p>\n
The Director of Resource Development is primarily responsible for donor cultivation to support HFHO\u2019s programs by effectively building relationships and communicating engagement opportunities through written proposals, verbal presentations, and direct solicitation. The main objective of this position is to raise critically needed funds to support HFHO\u2019s mission through corporate sponsorships and individual donations. With the support of an effective fundraising committee, you will create capital campaigns, lead affiliate marketing, seek funding through grant applications and other activities to ensure the success of HFHO\u2019s strategic goals.<\/p>\n
